Do you think he meant what he said?? Does he like me?

Okay so i went up to my lake house last weekend with my cousins and my cousins brought there friends out. I like one of the guys my cousin is friends with. His name is Mitch (We are both 15). So later on when i was over at my lake house my brother texted Mitch saying that I liked him and Mitch texted my brother saying he liked me back. Do you think he was lying?? Or do you think he was just saying that?? I have a good feeling he likes me my instinct just tells me. It sucks because i don't get too see him often at all. What do you think??
